Abracadumblebee


Did you know …


That according to the theories of physics and aerodynamics, the common bumblebee shouldn’t be able to achieve flight? It’s true!


And yet there they are, bumblebees, flying around like science doesn’t even matter. This has led scientists to refer to them as “the littlest wizards,” although whether they actually use magic for flight is still debated. Other proposed mechanisms include magnets, little strings and gas propulsion.

I’m inclined to think that the simplest explanation is likely the correct one (“Occam's Racer”): that they just use magic.
