About Daily Science Fact

Where does your Daily Science Fact come from?

It comes from me, of course! It's true! But where did I acquire each science or science-related fact? Now that's a good question!

I'm not, strictly speaking, a "scientist." That is to say, I've been a life-long lover of learning, and I have what a policewoman once called "a keen analytical mind," but I've never been formally trained in science, and I've never been awarded a Scientists' Degree from a university, accredited or otherwise.

But I remember things, and you can pick up a lot of science by just listening, watching and remembering. Also, I found a ring on a beach once, and I think it used to belong to a scientist, because whenever I put it on my finger or wherever I feel a lot smarter, and suddenly I know things I never knew I knew. I wonder sometimes how this ring works, but whoever the scientist who once owned it was, he or she must not have known the mystery of the ring.
