April's Fool

Did you know …

That today is the infamous “April’s Fool Day”? It’s true!

April’s Fool Day was invented by English knights in the 10th century as an excuse to play pranks on French knights. The English knights would put poisonous snakes in French armor, kidnap French children, and draw saucy pictures of Charles III “The Simple” of France. It was all in good fun, of course—the English are nature’s jokesters.

What’s my April’s Fool joke? Did you notice … that I haven’t posted for the last three days? Ha! I guess you are all my April’s Fools!

(Just kidding. I actually just forgot to do it. Also, the site received only 8 pageviews in the last three days, and a lot of those came from Russia, so I don’t think I’d even be able to pinpoint who my Fools were. I’ll fill in those empty days with facts as I have time. Maybe that will be my April’s Fool Day joke.)
