Did you know …


That astronauts don’t age during their time spent in space? It’s true!


Astronauts tend to live longer than the average for their specific demographic groups, and the extra lifespan corresponds very closely to the length of time they spent in space.


What’s more interesting is that even astronauts who die from accidents—lightning strikes, shark attacks, car crashes, auto-erotic asphyxiation, etc—also die slightly later than the average age for each cause of death. This has led many scienticians to postulate that a) time spent in space represents a temporary halt in mental and emotional development/progression, or b) that time does not actually pass in space!

To test this theory, NASA is planning on sending a baby to space sometime in the next several years. It will have a little baby-sized spacesuit and everything.
